Plane crash in China leaves two dead
A cargo plane that departed from Dubai crashed into the sea near Hong Kong International Airport in China on Sunday, resulting in the deaths of two ground crew members.
The incident occurred after the plane veered off the runway, reportedly colliding with a vehicle on the ground before plunging into the water.
Emergency lights can be seen in viral images of the wreckage, which shows the aircraft severely damaged, with its tail missing and the front smashed in.
In response to the crash, the airport has closed the affected runway, although the other two runways remain operational.
Local reports from the BBC indicate that the two victims were working on the ground when the incident occurred.
